Jodie Peck Receives Certification from the ACSP
Vermont Custom Closets is proud to announce that Jodie Peck has joined an elite list of storage designers who have achieved designer certification status from the Association of Closet & Storage Professionals (ACSP), the trade organization for the custom storage industry.
Jodie successfully completed a comprehensive application progress, examination, and design challenges in April of this year.
“Designers certified by the ACSP truly are among the best of the best in custom storage design,” said Diana Augspurger, Immediate Past President of the ACSP. “When clients select ACSP certified designers to handle their custom storage needs, they can rest assured they are working with the finest professionals who have invested in their trade knowledge.”

Local Business Owner Elizabeth Warren Elected to the CPS Board
At the recent Board Meeting of the Cancer Patient Support Foundation (CPS), new Board Member elected, local Williston business owner Elizabeth Warren of Essex Junction.
Elizabeth Warren and her husband Todd own and operate Otter Creek Awnings/Vermont Custom Closets in Williston and have been active in local cancer support nonprofits and events for many years. The company is the title sponsor for The Rally Against Cancer campaign for UVM, an effort to help with Cancer awareness in partnership with UVM sports teams. In that role, Elizabeth and Todd attend the “Pink Games” and set up a table with cancer information. Their companies also sponsored the Cattle Barron’s Ball in 2014, a fundraiser for Hope Lodge. Elizabeth has been involved with Cocktails Curing Cancer and has been in leadership positions for other nonprofits over the last 10 years, chairing her local PTO in Essex with 100 members and 20 plus committees.
Warren was a member of the Essex school board for three years and chaired the Christian Education Committee at her church where she was in leadership roles for many years. In 2013, Elizabeth and Todd’s company won the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce Creative Edge award.

Todd & Elizabeth Ann Warren were featured in Business People Magazine’s Celebrating 30th Year – June Issue.
Elizabeth and Todd Warren bought Otter Creek Awnings, Sunrooms and Custom Closets from founder Max Eaton in 2008. Todd is president and Elizabeth, hailed as “The Patio Room Lady,” does sunroom design and sales training in addition to marketing. In 2011, they bought Closet Crafters, a Williston company founded the same year Business People–Vermont was born. Last year, they doubled the showroom size and created two separate business entities: Otter Creek Awnings and Sunrooms and Vermont Custom Closets.
